The body has been sent to Chittagong Medical College (CMCH) morgue for autopsy.

An officer from the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) was found dead at the RAB-7 camp in Chandgaon, Chittagong.

Palash Saha, 37, was found dead by police on Wednesday around 12:30 p.m., according to Chittagong Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner Amirul Islam.

According to the deputy commissioner, Palash was assigned to RAB-7 as an assistant superintendent of police (ASP).

His remains were discovered in his third-floor chamber at the RAB-7 Chandgaon camp. He stated that a handwritten note had also been found in the room.

He was 37-year-old Palash Saha. After completing the 37th BCS exam, the deceased RAB officer became a member of the police department. In RAB-7, he was an Assistant Director (ASP). The district of Gopalganj is his home.

Prothom Alo was informed by Jahangir Alam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (North) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police: “A message pertaining to his family was discovered at the spot. Additionally, he called his family members in the morning.

For an autopsy, the body has been transferred to the morgue at Chittagong Medical College (CMCH).
